The 800 V E-GMP platform (Ioniq 5 and 6) is a fast-charging marvel with one well-known weak spot: the ICCU unit, whose failure stops the car charging its 12 V battery. We diagnose and replace it with manufacturer tooling, recalibrating the BMS after every intervention.
On the Kona Electric and the Tucson and Santa Fe PHEVs we work on pack SoH, DC fast-charging errors and the mixed combustion-electric maintenance. Exit report with before/after values, always.
